how to stop ingrown hairs in bikini area?

I’ve been getting ugly ingrown hairs in my bikini area, how do i get rid of an prevent them from getting new ones. i use a 4 blade razor and soap an water to shave.

Usually, it is the shaving that causes the ingrown hairs. Try trimming with scissors for a while to see if it makes a difference. If it does, you have some options: waxing and electrolysis are two good ones. If those are too expensive, close trimming with scissors can be kept up.

The dead skin, not being removed, is most likely the culprit it prevents the hair from exiting the opening, and starts to curl underneath.Maybe one of those rough loose skin remover for bath use might help, with a little lubrication afterwards.

Only shave when you absolutely have to and use shaving cream. Rinsing with cool water also helps as well.

Shaving is horrible! You need to start waxing.
But until then i suggest you shave in the direction the hairs grow rather than against (like you would when shaving your legs) them as this irritates the skin causing the ingrown hairs.

I would suggest waxing .. also exfoliating with a loofa on a regular basis will help and using a product such as Tend Skin which is desgined specifically for ingrowns/irritation .
